Phase 1 - Generation Phase (4th December, 2021)

Taxpayers to generate and store tax invoices and noteselectronically. The Solution should be compliant with phase 1 requirements.Enforceable for all taxpayers (excluding non-resident taxpayers), and any otherparties issuing tax invoices on behalf of suppliers subject to VAT.

Phase 2 - Integration Phase (From 1st January2023)

This will be rolled out in waves by targeted groups, newphase 2 technical and business requirements will be introduced along withintegration to ZATCA’s systems. Phase 2 wave group will be notified at least6months in advance and enforcement date will not be earlier than January 1st2023.
